  3. Putt Putt (many locations) in Myrtle Beach, SC
  4. Beaching It in Myrtle Beach, SC
  5. See Historic District in Charleston, SC
1. Edventure Children's Museum - Located in the capital of South Carolina is a wonderful multiple storied children's museum, this museum is great for children of all ages. There's even a little baby/toddler room which makes it easy for the little ones to play and the guardians to change their diapers. I love how they also have nursing rooms in this section as well. Address: 211 Gervais St, Columbia, SC 29201

2. Riverbanks Zoo & Gardens
For just one admission price, you have access to both the zoo and the gardens area. The zoo is wonderful for the kids to stretch their legs and also enjoy some outdoor activities. The Gardens also has a water park play area which is accessible year-round and already included with your admission! You really can't beat this. It's a full day experience for sure. Address: 500 Wildlife Parkway, Columbia, SC 29210

3. Putt Putt in Myrtle Beach - Myrtle Beach is known for their beach, dozens of all you can eat seafood buffet and dozens of putt putt options. West Coasters call it miniature golf but here in the Carolinas, it's called putt putt! Decked with amazing structures and options, the whole family can partake in some putt putt family fun. Some hotels even have putt putt on their facility! Address: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

4. Beaching It in Myrtle Beach

Soaking in the sand and swimming in the ocean water is always free to visit here in Myrtle Beach. They also have a boardwalk full of activities, restaurants and places to sit. It's especially festive during spring break and the summer season! It can get really busy so if you plan to book a hotel in the busy seasons, do so early on. Address: Between Second Avenue North and 15th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

5. Historic District in Charleston
Some people may confuse and think Charleston is the capital but it's not! Charleston is so famous for their beautiful historic district, southern charm and personality! There's no where like it in America. You truly feel like you're traveling on a vacation here. There is an abundance of restaurants and historic places to see. Another Great Trip in Columbia, the Capital of South Carolina

January 21, 2015
There was a Beer Fest in Columbia, SC over the weekend so we did a 2 day trip in Columbia, SC. In the past, I've only done single day trips so this was our first time staying overnight and we got to do some more exploring this time around. I am so impressed at how much Columbia is remodeling in downtown and all the businesses seem to be booming, even in the middle of January. Maybe it's because of the beer fest that attracted a lot of tourists/visitors this past weekend but still, I see a pro...

Secret Atom Bomb Dropped in Florence, SC

December 7, 2014
One of the few fortunate things that I was able to see for myself is the site where the bomb was dropped by the air force. Not a lot of people know about it because there was an article that said that they wanted to keep it a secret. Although the site is somewhat preserved for its history, there is a chance in the future that that site could be replaced with housing. Here are the pictures I took of the site and the bulletin board that someone put there about the history.

Jennifer's Taqueria at Florence Flea Market in South Carolina is awesome

December 7, 2014
The best Mexican food I've ever had in Florence, SC is at the Flea Market at a little place called Jennifer's Taqueria. Don't be deceived by its little shack. Their tacos are phenomenal with all the right fixings! Make sure you bring cash because that is all they take. My favorites are the carne asada and chicken tacos. They all come with a piece of avocado. Make sure you put some of their hot sauce on it. It's so good and authentic!

San Jose's Tacos & Tequila Review

June 26, 2014
We went to the San Jose's Tacos & Tequila restaurant today located at 3410 W. Radio Drive
Florence, SC 29501 and it was surprisingly nice inside. You know they spend a lot of money building the whole place inside and out. The podium was inviting and we were greeted right away by the staff who was waiting in the front.

When presented with the menu, I was very happy to see that they have California Fish Tacos on the menu. I'm originally from San Diego and I lived on fish tacos growing up! They a...
