I like Chinese food but I feel like the Chinese food restaurants around Florence, SC are all overly sweet for my taste. A lot of the dishes are filled with a lot of sweet sauces that make it really overbearing for my palette. Golden Dragon is one of them. I really like how they have the twin dragons in the front and when you come inside of the restaurant, it definitely has a Chinese theme inside.

My husband and I went to lunch at Red Bone Alley and had such a wonderful experience. We just love dining there because of it's unique decor. The whole entire restaurant is a replica of downtown Charleston. You would not expect to find this here in Florence, SC.

2017 UPDATE: This Pho Vietnam restaurant in Florence, SC is now CLOSED!

I am so happy that the only Vietnamese restaurant in town now serves over 10 bubble teas! I was ecstatic! My husband ordered the Thai Tea bubble tea (bubble tea is also known as boba) and the boba balls were delicious and fresh. For my entree, I ordered #16 which was a rice dish with a porkchop, egg quiche, a side of rice and veggies.  Everything was to my satisfaction. Their food has gotten a lot more varied and better!

Pho Vietnam just opened up in Florence, SC for about 2 weeks now and we're impressed with the pho broth. We were expecting something mediocre since it's the monopoly for Vietnamese food as the only Vietnamese restaurant in Florence, SC. When I found out this is Thai House 2, I wonder where Thai House 1 is? We came to Thai House 2 to dine for dinner on a Friday evening. It was 5:15pm so it was early and we found parking in front. We were greeted by a man of Thai descent and were the first customers there. We also noticed that there is a sushi bar there. That is the first Thai restaurant I've ever seen with a sushi bar!
