We went on a day trip to Myrtle Beach since it was only an hour away from where we live and it's unbelievable big! The boardwalk has a lot of shops, rides, walking areas and a nearby entertainment center called Broadway on the Beach (about a mile from the boardwalk).

The only thing that I wasn't prepared for is the traffic. The streets are narrow and there are sometimes only one lane for each direction so you can imagine the congestion. There are a lot of hotels in the area too. See this section for list of hotels.

The Broadway on the Beach is magnificent and humongous! Bring your walking shoes. I highly recommend bringing your family or friends here if you're visiting Myrtle Beach. In its own way, it can be better than being at the beach!

Here are one of the many bridges you'll cross to get to certain parts of the entertainment area.
You can actually see a lot of fishes as you cross over these bridges and feed them for a quarter.
Visit Voltar at the magic shop at the Broadway of the Beach. Don't wish to become big!
