Snow Day in Florence, South Carolina - January 29, 2014

Posted by on Wednesday, January 29, 2014,
It rarely snows in Florence, SC but last night it did. The weather channel was accurate in their predictions and all the schools and most of the businesses are also closed for today. Most residents are staying inside.

You just print out the coupon that they email to you around your birthday but you need to join their rewards program on their website. One is a carrot cupcake and the other is velvet.

Even on a rainy day, Charleston is still beautiful.

We visited Charleston last weekend and it was my first time there. My husband lived there for two years because of Nuke School. It definitely is obvious that it's the oldest city in the US but it's beautiful, even on a rainy or cloudy day. It rained for most of the weekend when we were there in February. The town is busy at night on weekends and many come to the Social Bar for their bachelorette parties when we visited.
