Dog Park in Florence, SC (David H McLeod Park) is a great place for your dogs

Posted by SCBeachtrips.com on Thursday, May 30, 2013,
There is a fenced dog park at David H McLeod Park located at:
620 S Santiago Dr
Florence, SC 29501

This dog park at David H Mcleod Park has a really nice tranquil pond. Just a slight hover over the water and you'll see dozens of fishes. They don't have a water fountain but my dog really likes to drink out of the pond water. He's been there 3 times now and hasn't had a stomachache from it. (see pictures below)

Visitors aren't allowed to fish here anymore so that's great news for the dogs. Another ...

Happy Meal from McDonald's does make me happy

Posted by SCbeachtrips.com on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, In : Food
I'm 29 years old and I still order a happy meal from McDonald's for myself when I need a big snack. I still remember how happy I would be when my parents got us happy meals. There's something about everything placed in a nice neat boxes that makes me so excited. It brings nostalgia value and I recommend any adult to stop by the drive thru and order one for a little bit of happiness.

I bought this during our road trip from SC to Virginia.

Myrtle Beach - There is so much to do!

Posted by SCBeachtrips.com on Friday, April 5, 2013, In : Myrtle Beach
We went on a day trip to Myrtle Beach since it was only an hour away from where we live and it's unbelievable big! The boardwalk has a lot of shops, rides, walking areas and a nearby entertainment center called Broadway on the Beach (about a mile from the boardwalk).

Hartsville was founded by Thomas E. Hart and the Kalmia Gardens is at the former plantation owned by Thomas E. Hart. Surrounded by beautiful flowers with a creek, pond and many bridges, this is open to the public. It is also dog-friendly (with leash on at all times). We came here to visit over the weekend and were thrilled that we've found a garden where we can have some peaceful walks with our dog. Here are some pictures from our walk through the gardens.

Even on a rainy day, Charleston is still beautiful.

Posted by SCbeachtrips.com on Tuesday, February 26, 2013,
We visited Charleston last weekend and it was my first time there. My husband lived there for two years because of Nuke School. It definitely is obvious that it's the oldest city in the US but it's beautiful, even on a rainy or cloudy day. It rained for most of the weekend when we were there in February. The town is busy at night on weekends and many come to the Social Bar for their bachelorette parties when we visited.

Picture above is view of the ocean. Picture below is of the main street ...
